It's a beautiful building with very nice restrooms. The staff is helpful and friendly. There are plenty of free pamphlets as well as maps for the people like me who still value the paper maps.
They need to be clearer with their signs. Cars are parking in trailer parking area. Not good. People for some reason realize or don't care that they are not parking in the back. Parking lines are much longer, should be a clue.
Serving as the tourist info center as you enter SC this newly rebuilt rest area has easy access to and from the interstate. The facility is new, clean and well maintained with tourist information booths and exihbits for information. Rest rooms, vending machines, water fountains, picinic areas and tables, outdoor open areas and ample parking are all available at this stop.
A very clean rest stop with 24hr bathrooms, a water bottle fill station, and vending machines. It also has a very gorgeous welcome center open during the day with very attractive vaulted wooden ceilings. I only went there during the evening, but everything was brightly lit and clean. There are gas stations at the next exit (which is in about 1 mile).
Clean, modern, large facilities. Lots of information available. Easy on and off interstate. Large parking area and picnic area.
